Fun with Family

My mom and two nieces came for the weekend to visit and the kids had so much fun! I didn't take many pictures... wish I would have taken more.





We took them to the Kart Ranch and they had a blast in the kiddie area and bumper boats. This is where Dominick will have his 3rd birthday party. The pictures don't do it much justice but it is a super cool place for kids to play. They have go-carts, bumper boats, arcade games, and a super cool kiddie are with a fun jump, mini-ball put, huge ball pit, and much more.

I so wish I would have taken a picture of Dominick's room last night. We let him and the 2 girls play in there and TEAR IT APART! They had sooooo much fun and were soooo good but I was a little crazy, biting my nails and hoping they were not destroying his walls. Let me explain, I have NEVER allowed Dominick to play freely in his room before. Normally, he takes all his toys out into the family room and plays where I can watch and supervise and make sure he is not destroying his toys. So last night I kept going in and checking on them every now and then and they had EVERY toy out, the blankets pulled off his bed, books off the shelf and so on. But they were truly having so much fun and behaving so well. Guess I'll have to start allowing him more freedom when we have friends over to play.

Humming Bird Mania

Humming birds have taken over my backyard. Seriously, there is a minimum of four humming birds at my one feeder at all times. It is usually more like 7-8 birds fighting over the feeder. I've never seen anything like it. There are so many of them it looks like bees swarming. I have to fill up the entire feeder every single day. They make a lot of noise too but my camera didn't pick that up too well. Here is a little video.

Dominick is doing well. He no longer takes naps which is just killing me. We make him lay down for at least 1-2 hours every day but he WILL NOT fall asleep. The problem is, he really needs a nap. He is so cranky all afternoon!!!

Also, don't know if I mentioned it but he is fully potty trained, WHOO-HOO!!! No more pulls-ups, big boy underwear all the way. I even try to match his underwear to his outfit everyday, hee-hee! (Most of them are solid colors)
